Working with the advice sector

The Money Advice Trust works closely with many other free-to-client advice organisations to help ensure the quality and consistency of free money advice, to share resources and ideas, and to bring the advice sector together as one united voice.

Examples of our commitment to our advice sector partners can be found all over this website, from our partnership board, to our grants programmes, to our support for advisers, to our co-ordination of policy responses, and through projects like CASHflow. The success of this approach can be seen through joint work such as the 'With a little help from my friends' research which led to the creation of CASHflow.

The Trust administers the Common Financial Statement which is used by many free advice agencies across the UK.

The Trust also provides self-help packs for partner agencies to offer clients that are deemed capable of following the self-help method. This frees up their advisers' time to deal with the more pressing cases.

We believe that working together with other free advice providers makes the sector more efficient in delivering effective advice to those that need it.
