Money Advice Trust announces new trigger figures for the Common Financial Statement.

The updated CFS trigger figures will be available from the Money Advice Trust website from August 1st 2009.

The Common Financial Steering group recently signed off the new figures, following the completion of a report commissioned by the Money Advice Trust (MAT), which reviewed the methodology for calculating the trigger figures.

The consumer white paper released today has been drafted through consultation with various money advice sector agencies, including the Money Advice Trust. The new legislation includes a range of measures aimed at protecting vulnerable consumers during these difficult times.
