Linking debt and benefits advice online

Here at the Money Advice Trust you’ll have gathered we attach a very high importance to partnership working – and I make no apologies for returning to this subject for two blog posts in a row!

After last month’s news on our partnership with Capitalise, I am pleased to announce that this week sees the launch of a further new partnership with Turn2us, linking our My Money Steps online tool with the free Turn2us Benefits Calculator.

This innovation enables a more seamless user journey between the two tools, with data transfer meaning that users will only have to input their information once. Given the important link between effective debt advice and income maximisation, this move will ensure that more users of both services get the full advice they need to get on top of their finances.

We are really excited about this work and proud to be partnering with Turn2us, an organisation with whom we have long had a close working relationship, to bring more help to more people.

Last year the Turn2us Benefits Calculator, available to users across the UK, was completed more than 580,000 times - and this partnership is another step in our mission to provide free debt advice to more of the people who could benefit from the service we provide.  We are also pleased to be able to bring the advantages of the Benefits Calculator to our existing users, providing them with a better service.  All in all I’m delighted that this is another way we can help more people, more effectively.
