Money Advice Trust appoints new Head of Research and Policy

The Money Advice Trust has appointed Louisa Parker as Head of Research and Policy. Louisa began her career at the Trust five years ago as a money adviser for National Debtline.

Her rise through the organisation has come as no surprise to those who have worked closely with her. Louisa, who played an integral part in the development of a number of projects including CASHflow, the Money Advice Trust Information Hub and the Common Financial Statement, takes up the position with immediate effect.

Chief Executive, Joanna Elson said:

“We are delighted that Louisa is to head up our Research and Policy division. She has been outstanding in all her roles at the Money Advice Trust, and her promotion to this position reaffirms our commitment to developing talent within the organisation, demonstrating that the knowledge and skills you develop working here can pay dividends.”

In taking up her role, Louisa said:

"I am absolutely delighted to be offered the chance to play an important role in the development of the Trust. In such difficult economic times, our role in helping reduce unmanageable debt has never been more important, and I am extremely fortunate to have such a strong team to work with ensuring our goals are met."
