Training - meeting the national needs

The Money Advice Trust is co-ordinating the training required to increase the supply of money advisers.

Through the Financial Inclusion Fund, the government will spend around £45 million to improve face-to-face debt advice – including recruiting more debt advisers.

The Money Advice Trust is co-ordinating the training programme for the new advisers recruited as a result of this additional funding.

Citizens Advice and adviceUK will provide the foundation level training with the Money Advice Trust providing advanced courses.

We are expanding our team of tutors and trainers to meet the increased demand for our services.
