Working for us

Working at the Money Advice Trust
We are an influential national charity that helps hundreds of thousands of people each year to tackle their debts and manage their money with confidence.

Help us to continue making a difference to people’s lives by joining our friendly team.
Our head office is located in London and is the hub for fundraising, marketing, communications, finance as well as our Wiseradviser service. Wiseradviser provide specialist debt advice training online and face-to-face, to people who deliver money advice in charities across the UK.
Our Birmingham office runs the National Debtline and Business Debtline services and both offer practical self-help to empower people in debt to speak to creditors directly and put solutions in place to resolve their debt problems.
Why work for us?
We have a strong set of values that we live by: be balanced, be supportive, be innovative. These values are reflected in our strategy, and the way we do things on a daily basis.
We are a Living Wage Employer.
Learning and development
Our continued success depends upon achieving our objectives which are set annually and reviewed regularly in one-to-ones with your line manager. We will support and encourage you to develop your potential and to realise your aspirations for role/career progression.
The people we help are really important to us and this is why we have a robust induction programme that will let you know who we are and how we run our services and departments.  In addition to this we have a six-week Giving Good Debt Advice induction programme that all our debt advisers will complete.
All our first line managers are trained in leadership and management to enable them to serve your needs and the needs of the Trust. This is done to ILM's nationally recognised qualification standards.
As well as this our Wiseradviser service deliver and prepare debt advice training for all of our debt advisers that enables them to update and maintain their high standards of customer service and debt advice provision. These services are available as e-learning modules as well as classroom delivery modules.
We also encourage learning and development through a variety of other formats such as coaching, seminars, conferences, secondments, shadowing, and qualifications.
